The ambiance was great - such a beautiful establishment. It is two floors and looks to be a renovated townhouse. We ordered a couple things on the menu and they were enjoyable: beef tartare, spicy mixed noodle, mushroom sotbap, branzino. My favorite has to be the spicy mixed noodle - sweet & spicy and very flavorful.

Had my fair share of nyc Korean restaurants but Moono had quickly earned its place in my top 3! Wings and Galbi Jim were so incredible definitely a must get. We were seated upstairs but I would prefer the main dining area downstairs so ask for that when you get seated or make a note in your resy! Upstairs is more quiet and intimate but you're mainly staring at the gate. Uni dol sap was good but for the price I would try more of the apps like the beef tartare which was much more worth it.

3.5 - Good, would go back to try the other dishes Chicken was amazing, technically speaking fried perfectly Uni sotbap was disappointing, uni flavor is diluted and the rest of the dish doesn't make up for it in flavor Hoe Muchim was interesting but the textures and flavors didn't synergize well Last but not least the teapot was the most memorable thing from the dinner. My god the laminar flow was insane.

This place is so pretty, and I loved their sugarpea cocktail, and galbi jjim! Service was great, and their high chair was nice (but there's no changing table, so I used the trash can instead)!

Ambiance was A++++. What a nicely designed place. 5/5 This type of place should have great service and they delivered. I thought the food could have been better to match the upscale image. Hoe Muchim - not bad. I think the gochujang takes away the taste of the other ingredients. 4/5 Spicy Fried Chicken - it was good but it's just fried chicken 4/5 Bosom - standard. 4/5 Galbi-Jjim - I've had better 3/5 Mushroom Sotbap. This was my favorite. 5/5 Spicy Mixed Noodle - nice and refreshing 4.5/5 The Kim Chi was very good. 5/5

one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the country !! if you know me, you know that i usually don't like "upscale Korean" restaurants because the authenticity is oftentimes lost. BUT i was blown away by this place - the dishes are authentic + flavors are simple yet delicious and not overdone. it's a pleasantly unique flavor combo of "mom's cooking" and "fancy dinner." everything was amazing but i especially loved the fried chicken and uni sotbap! and of course: the service is kind and the interior is beautiful & unique. can't wait to come back and try more things!! what we ordered: appetizers: - spicy fried chicken - hoe muchim + kim - mung bean pancake seafood & meat: - bossam - uni sotbap drinks: - golden barley soju - dokdo soju

From the outside looking in, Moono looks like an exclusive social club. To my surprise, the interiors marry a good balance between modernism and Korean elegance. We ordered: Jellyfish Salad Pyongyang Cold Noodle Galbi-Jjim Service is very attentive because once dishes arrive at the table, the server explains the ingredients and sourcing. The kimchi is quite spicy (in a good way) and the green jelly esque appetizer was very memorable with a healthy, childlike aspect to it. Would come back for special occasions and less towards casual dining.

The place is beautiful! Resembled a church somewhat. The wait was not long and this was without a reservation. Service was good. The food was so memorable & delicious! The kimchi was fresh, crisp, and unlike any we'd tried before. We also received a complimentary cold appetizer sour soup, which tasted unique as it was sweet at the same time. We had the beef tartare, galbi, mushroom sotbap, fried pork jowl, and cold noodle. To be honest, we were blown away by all dishes aside from the cold noodle, which was okay. It was meant to be cold but I feel that it would have been tastier and more flavorful overall as a hot dish. We quickly got full from the sotbap but I'm still thinking about how tasty it is and took the rest for leftovers. What a great Michelin star restaurant experience!

Wow. First off the vibes are gorgeous. The entrance is so grand we almost missed it when we passed by. The interior looks like a fancy, luxurious hotel with bar seating, and upstairs seating as well. We were got it upstairs to be seated at a foyer which overlooked the downstairs area. As for food, the menu is relatively simple, but featured lots of delicious items we ordered the fried pork jowl to start, followed by the bossam and spicy cold noodle. The spicy pork chop it was so yummy. It was sweet and sour and crispy. We finish the whole thing. The bossam was passable. The portion was larger than it looked. The spicy call Noodle was also super yummy. It was slightly sweet and came with various veggies and beef. I would definitely come here again. I feel like it would be a very cute date spot. 5/5 for sure

Not your typical take on Korean cuisine but definitely worth the experience. Style over substance but an elevated dining experience overall. Very high quality ingredients but not your usual nomadic and agricultural traditional cuisine. Ordered the uni rice, galbi jjim, and the bossam. The galbi jjim was braised perfectly and it was fall of the bone tender! It was the highlight of dinner and it's highly recommended. 4 stars because the kimchi didn't pay enough homage to what Korean food should represent.
